New 5th OVI website gets kicked out the door

After some discussion at the organization's January meeting, the 5th Ohio's website has finally gotten an overhaul which will enable better content management and social networking.

Snow storm moves 5th Ohio January meeting to the 27th

Due to the winter weather today in Northeast, Ohio, the January 2011 5th Ohio planning meeting has been mover to next Thursday, January 27th, at 7 pm. The location is still the Northwest Avenue Church of Christ. Corner of Northwest Avenue and North Thomas Road, approximately ¼ mi southeast of the six corners intersection of Brittian Rd, Howe Road, Northwest Ave (Tallmadge) and Tallmadge Ave (Cuy Falls).

150th kick-off events in Pennsylvania

Members of the Division have been invited to participate in a sequence of events through the month of April 2011 to start off the Civil War 150th Anniversary series. These events will take place in Greencastle PA, Chambersburg PA, Fairfield PA, and Gettysburg PA during each weekend through April including activities on the actual Gettysburg battlefield.
